FMLA and Mental Health

The DOL issued guidance to help employers understand that FMLA leave can be used for a mental health condition. Qualifying employees of qualifying employers are entitled to take job-protected leave for their own serious mental health condition, or to care for a family member experiencing a serious mental health condition.
