It is with heavy hearts we report that Bob Weaver, FCA International’s Vice President, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on April 15. Bob was a cherished colleague and friend who will be dearly missed by the FCA community. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Bee a Blessing (114 Squirrel Tree Lane, Mt. Remembering Bob Weaver
Bob Weaver served as an FCA Vice President for over a decade. He had a tremendous amount of industry knowledge that he was happy to share for the betterment of FCA members and our industry. Over the course of his career, Bob worked every facet of the construction industry from worker, as a contractor (President/CEO of Creative Drywall Inc.), as a manufacturer/supplier (AMES Taping Tools) before working the association side of the industry with FCA.
Bob truly was one of our industry’s great leaders. His unparalleled knowledge made him an asset to everyone in the industry, but he will be remembered for his sunny disposition and his ability to always stay positive. He met every challenge with a smile, and he was always happy to support FCA members and his team in any way he could.
Bob was an instrumental part of the FCA team. In his 12 years with FCA, Bob worked with contractors, affiliates, manufacturers, suppliers, labor partners, legislators, regulators, academics, young leaders and more to build a better future for the signatory construction industry. Suffice to say, FCA and our entire industry are better for his involvement.
We at FCA are grateful for the time we were able to spend with Bob, and we will never forget the experience, knowledge and positivity he brought with him every day he served the signatory finishing industry.
