The Construction Labor Research Council (CLRC) has developed a new report titled, “Contractors’ Cost Conundrum” to support associations and contractors in showing the economic and staffing challenges contractors face in today’s challenging economy. Signatory contractors can leverage their FCA membership to order one of these reports for their area at a special rate.
The report is customized to your area, and it compares the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to the extraordinarily large cost increases of nearly all construction commodities contractors purchase. The Contractors’ Cost Conundrum shows that recent high CPI numbers are just one part of a larger story of the challenges contractors face in today’s market.
