FCA International is thrilled to announce the establishment of a new Minority Contractor Peer Group requested by signatory contractor members. This initiative is designed to amplify the voice of minority contractors in the finishing trades, foster meaningful networking opportunities, support professional development, advocate for equitable industry practices and provide a robust support system.

The first meeting will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 24 at 2 PM CT as a prelude for our first face-to-face peer group meeting during the upcoming Signatory Contractors’ Conference. The conference is being held from May 7-10 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. (Click here to download the conference’s Schedule of Events to see why this conference is one contractors don’t want to miss.)

Purpose of the Minority Peer Group

  • Representation – ensuring signatory contractors’ minority perspectives and challenges are heard and addressed.
  • Networking – facilitating connections between FCA minority subcontractors.
  • Professional Development – organizing events and educational opportunities tailored to our minority community’s needs.
  • Advocacy – lobbying for equitable practices and opportunities within the construction industry.
