Joe Clabbers Appointed Management Co-Chair of IPAT Pension Fund

The management trustees of the IPAT Industry Pension Fund have appointed Joe Clabbers to serve as Management Co-Chair of the Fund.

Joe will serve alongside Union Co-Chair Jim Williams Jr., providing joint leadership to the Fund and its Board of Trustees.

Joe has served as a management trustee of the IPAT Pension Fund since 2020, bringing decades of experience as a signatory contractor and industry leader to the Board.

A 40-plus-year veteran of the glazing industry, Joe has served as President of National Glass and Metal Co., Inc. for the past 34 years. The family-owned company is a NACC Certified full-service glazing contractor specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of glass and metal building facades. National Glass has worked on hundreds of landmark projects, including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Barnes Foundation, Citizens Bank Park, Wells Fargo Center, major hospitals and universities, as well as retail storefront projects across the United States and internationally.

Joe also has an extensive history of service to the union construction and glazing industries. In addition to his role with the IPAT Pension Fund, he serves as a management trustee of the IUPAT Annuity Fund and the DC 21 Finishing Trades Institute Apprentice Training Fund and as co-chair of his local Labor-Management Glazier Advisory Committee. He has also served on numerous industry boards and currently participates on the national NACC and AGMT Steering Committees. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.

Continuing a Legacy of Management Leadership

Joe assumes the Management Co-Chair position following the passing of Jerry Haber, whose years of leadership and commitment to the Fund, its participants, and the signatory industry left a lasting impact.

As Management Co-Chair, Joe will help represent the management perspective in the joint governance of the Fund while working with Union Co-Chair Jim Williams Jr., the trustees, Fund professionals, and participating employers to support the long-term strength and responsible administration of the Fund.

FCA congratulates Joe on his appointment and appreciates his willingness to take on this important responsibility on behalf of signatory contractors and the thousands of participants and beneficiaries who depend on the Fund.
